Roadtrip to Entrechaux

Posted on: 05/05/2012

Hello everyone!

Today was a very early day!

Mom woke me up at 4.30 AM to get ready to leave to France!

At 5.40 AM our roadtrip begun! Unfortunately no sunrise for me as it was raining a bit and the sun didn’t get the chance to come out! So guess I’ll have to wait for another chance to see my first sunrise!

We had our first pitstop in Luxembourg at around 7.40 AM! There we had our morning drinks at the restaurant: hot choco for me and cappucino for my mom 😉

Then it was back on the road! We had 2 more pitstops after the first one!
One for lunch and then the last one to stretch our legs one last time!

When we left Lyon we had crazy rain showers but luckily the closer we got to Entrechaux the sunnier the clouds
became and when we finally got to Entrechaud the weather was amazing!!!

Hoping for the weather to stay like this the whole 2 weeks but that remains a mistery so fingers crossed 😉

The house we’re staying in is at the Mayor’s and the house is amaaazing!!!
3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms(which means we each have our own :P), we also have a pool that’s for everyone(Mayor and the other house that’s available for guests) but don’t think we’ll be using that since the weather probably won’t be too warm to jump into the pool 😀

After we got installed we went to a small grocery store nearby to get some food for today and tomorrow since the stores won’t be open tomorrow and Monday we’ll be going to the main store to get all our supplies 😉

Well, that’s it for now!

Bye bye

Ouh, hier stiekem een beetje jaloers! Wij hebben zelfs geen zonnige wolkjes gezien… Alleen maar regenwolkjes. Geniet ervan! Veel groetjes!
